2018 Second Annual Burlington Adult

Pond Hockey Tournament

Join the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce and our business community and sponsors for the 2nd annual Burlington Adult Pond Hockey Tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 19-21, 2018. All games will take place at Echo Lake adjacent to Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington, WI. Teams are guaranteed two (2) games. Final game is single elimination. Check Brackets tournament. There will be monetary prizes for the 1,2,3 place teams.

The recreation division players must not have played Post High school (i.e. college, semi/professional levels, etc.) and be 19 years old or older. There are no restrictions with the competitive division. Two games will be running simultaneously on the ice hockey rink; the rinks will be divided by bumpers. Registration at 5 p.m. Friday, games will begin at 6 p.m. and Registration at 8 a.m. Saturday, games will begin 9 a.m. sharp.

Weather Cancellation Policy:

By entering you have acknowledged that you will be playing on a natural, outdoor ice surface and ice conditions are at the mercy of Mother Nature. Games times may be adjusted if rinks do not require clearing after every game. Should the event be cancelled due to inclement weather or unsafe ice conditions as determined by the tournament directors, teams have two options:

• Entry into the 2019 Burlington Adult Pond Hockey Tournament, in the same division for which they are currently registered. No exceptions.
• Teams may elect to have 75% of their registration fee refunded to them. Teams who choose this option will not be guaranteed a spot in the 2018 event.

Team Name Policy:

Pond hockey team names must not be offensive to any particular group or individual. We encourage creativity; however, we will not post team names that may be sexually suggestive, discriminatory or harassing in any way. Thank you for your cooperation in being respectful to all hockey players and fans.

Echo Lake Park offers a pavilion which will offer shelter and port-a-potties. Food and beverages will be provided by a local vendor.
